President’s Welcome

Dear Members of the Delaware Contractors Association,

As I serve my term as President of the Delaware Contractors Association (DCA), I am reminded of how much our industry has grown, adapted, and persevered through change. This year marks an important transition for our organization with Sean Matthews stepping into the role of Executive Director. His leadership, combined with the dedication of our Board, staff, and committee members, positions us to continue advancing the mission of DCA and strengthening our reputation as the “Voice of Construction” in Delaware.

Our strength as an association has always been rooted in people — the humble, hardworking men and women who form the backbone of our member companies. From apprentices on their first jobsite to seasoned professionals managing complex projects, each person contributes to the vitality of Delaware’s construction industry. DCA thrives when all of our member companies are able to openly participate in the construction economy and Delaware taxpayers benefit from excellent and efficient construction practices.

I encourage every member to take part in shaping the future of DCA. Whether it is through attending events, joining committees, supporting workforce initiatives, or engaging in government relations efforts, your involvement makes us stronger. Membership in DCA is not just about the services we provide; it is about belonging to a community that is committed to excellence, collaboration, and a brighter future for all who build in Delaware.
